MacKenzies has recently had a move around, changing the look, making it more appealing with the relaxing approach..
After visiting MacKenzies for a quick drink, we found ourselves in there for quite a while.. The atmosphere was good, fairly decent music, not to loud, but also not to quiet.
Drinks are reasonably priced with plenty of seating, and they have even made room for a smallish dance floor..
So we didn’t have a bad experience but quite a lot of people have said otherwise and that it does get very boring in this venue quite quickly which we can understand.
If this venue isn’t very busy, then your probably better off heading to one of the other bars along the waterfront.
