5. Hi Jodi, good luck in the half marathon! Umm.. sundays are usually pretty quiet, I would take the safe bet and stay down the waterfront for a few drinks and head to Oceana after. Hi Neil - Friday and Saturday nights are awesome.. I would recommend either Oceana or the Syndicate on the Friday night, and head to Panache on the Saturday night! Get on the guest list for panache free by clicking the Paparazzi flyer above! Have a good weekend :)

12. @Helen: Hi welcome to the site. What dates are coming to Bristol ? Some weekends 'The Warehouse' hosts salsa nights, which are great fun. Next to the warehouse is a nice bar called 'el puerto', they do some great tapas and has a great atmosphere. Cheers Rikky

19. @Liam: Hi, most important first… Besting lap dancing is 'Urban Tiger' Location on the centre city with a big orange sign on the front or the second choose would be 'lounge @ 30' just off corn street, both are all good, but remember the rules :) All located on the 'Clubbing Map'. Before all of that beer is needed … :) Good starting point is the bar 'Mackenzies' on the waterfront, then head toward corn street. A number of bars next-door to each other: Start The Bus, BSB, Slug & Lettuce, Vodka Revolution, After all that wanted to dance the night away, 80s music head to Rewind, or if the younger one wants RnB/Charts music, Head to Panache (Check out the review page for guest list) Hope you have a awesome time, need to know anything let me know :) Cheers Rikky

24. @Andy: Hi, i would recommend starting of at the welsh back. Has lot of pubs in a small space. The Apple (Cider Boat), The Old Duke (Great jazz and blues venue) and Llandoger Trow (One of Bristol oldest pubs) Plus a few more. Once the pubs have closed, you can make a move for some 80's music. Two places to choose from….Reflex (Baldwin Street) or Rewind (Corn Street). Hope you have a great night, need any more information, just ask :) Cheers Rikky

29. Hi Mike, Oceana are pretty fussy to be honest - we always recommend wearing a shirt/t-shirt, jeans/trousers with shoes! Don't wear trainers! :)

32. @Cedric: Hi, during the week i would go a up park street for a few drinks, Its nice and relaxed up there on a week day. On thursday night make a visit down to Oceana, free entry before 10pm then £3 till midnight and £1.50 on selected drinks. I would recommend not going to Oceana until 11:00/11:30, it can be a bit dead and the main room doesn't open until 10:30/11:00. If you need any more information just ask :-) Cheers, Rikky

40. No probs.. yeh dark jeans and a shirt will be fine for all places. The most awkward place about shoes are Oceana and Panache, so just make sure they look like shoes.. no steel caps allowed :)

42. Hi Speed.. dress code is usually smart/casual.. t-shirt, jeans and shoes will be fine. Some places will let you in with trainers but if your planning hitting the clubs then put shoes on to be safe. Av a good time!

Hii! it's my birthday on thurs 29th, and I'm from Cardiff and the nightlife is slowly going downhill, a load of us are coming to Bristol to experience the nightlife for the first time, but we'll be going out on the thursday, where do you reccomend going as I can imagine it's not a huge night. Also anywhere we could stop for some cheap pre-drinks before hitting somewhere bigger. Rnb music preferred but anything really. Would really appreciate some help. Thank youuuu :)

49. @Dee: I would recommend either Rewind which is mostly classic cheese from the 60's through to current day - which is located above walkabout bar. Otherwise Oceana would be suitable - the disco room on the top floor plays a mix and match, and the ice room on the middle floor plays current music. Hope this helps. Thanks, Ed.

61. @Peter Smith: Hi Peter, I am not sure whether or not Syndicate would be able to disable strobe lighting completely as a number of their lighting effects have strobe facilities. Your best bet would be to contact Syndicate directly as you have suggested. Their phone number is 01179 450325. I believe that the phone lines are open late afternoon to early evening. 63. @Deano: If you are looking for a variety of options then I would recommend oceana. There are a few bar areas where people can sit, as well as two rooms for clubbing. The Ice room which is current music and the disco room which is all of the old classics. If you are looking for the older kind of music (i.e. 70's and 80's) then I would recommend Rewind (above Walkabout) or Reflex.

79. @Shannon: Oceana tickets are usually around £10, but are cheaper if you go in before 11pm and cheaper if bought in advance. If you plan to go in before 11pm, there are some money off and great deal vouchers available from our site.

87. @Kerry: Happy birthday for Saturday :) Oceana is a great venue but has lots of different types of music. I would recommend having a few drinks up Corn street then heading off to Panache, they play most RnB with some commercial chucked in. if you still have some life left in you, head off to Antix up park street plays mostly RnB and sty open until 6am.

    @Mike: Welcome to bristol, Thursday night are mainly students nights but would recommend heading down to the waterfront, popping into BSD and Lloyds.

    @Celso: The place i normal go would be Timbuk2 or basement 45. Check the website for the events: basement45.co.uk

    @Laidboy: Sounds like you got a good plan already. Shouldn't have no problem with syndicate, always see people dressed up. As long your well behaved you should be fine :) If you want cheese, i would recommend stopping off at Rewind and dance music stop off in BSB. Both venues are located on corn street, just 10 minute walk from syndicate

92. Hi, I am organising my brother's stag in Bristol the weekend of 4-6th June. I was thinking of Clifton then waterfront/Oceana on Friday night, then city centre/Syndicate on Sat? Is Syndicate OK with fancy dress etc or is it more dance music? Keen for a bit of chart n cheese on the sat night if you have a better option!

98. Hi Marshall, the O2 Academy have an Australian band called Powderfinger playing, not sure if there any good or not though! The other bars and clubs are open as normal but there isnt any headliners, apart from Audiobullys at the Thekla on the 26 April.
